Kendell Harbin wears many hats: teacher, storyteller, video maker, builder, media-based organizer, project manager, designer, archivist, curator, press operator, researcher, videotape collector…the list goes on.
Currently, Harbin works as a Senior Fabricator with J.E. Dunn. When not in the shop, Harbin freelances as a Facilitator for local nonprofits working to make meaningful change in the arts & education sector.
Over the last decade, Harbin’s life as both a student and a teacher has been influenced by many schools of thought: Interchange Artist Fellowship (2019), The Prelinger Library (2019), The Oxbow School (2018), The Zz School of Print Media (2017), A never-accredited-community-supported-2-year grad-school (2016), Signal Culture (2015), The Luminary FLOAT (2014), The Kansas City Art Institute (2013), The Ox-Bow School of Art (2012), & Arcosanti (2011).
